Montmarte Sunday

SUNDAY.

I went to Montmarte, the highest part of Paris with Krystal. We went to the Salvador Dali exhibit and had lunch outside of sacre couere, the basilica. It was a beautiful day and seeing Dali's stuff is always interesting. His perception and views on different topics through surrealism is interesting yet disturbing. And of course that would be the exhibit we are in when the lights go out. being in a surrealist exhibit in the dark is no fun. scary rather. haha but we were ushered out, had lunch, and returned to the museum, finished the exhibit and then walked around the high, full of steps part of the city.

its not a really safe area, lots of tourists, so lots of scam artists and pickpockters roam about but we were lucky to not run into any of them. i'm sure it would have been different if we went later in the evening to night. its right around the moulin rouge area, so the red light district, and lots of creepy people walking around. but it was a gorgeous day out and i had a great time!
